壓制力的大小一方面決定了餐具產(chǎn)品的密實(shí)度,另一方面也決定了一次性餐具設(shè)備成型機(jī)的大小,壓制力越大,餐具也密實(shí),強(qiáng)度越高,但壓制力越大,一次成型的餐具越多,成型機(jī)體積就越大,機(jī)身越笨重。因此壓制力的大小和一次成型的餐具的數(shù)量應(yīng)選擇大小適中。

壓制應(yīng)力的大小決定了餐具的密實(shí)度。在沒(méi)有規(guī)范或其它參考時(shí),可以參照文獻(xiàn)[機(jī)械設(shè)計(jì)手冊(cè)]中木材的抗壓強(qiáng)度來(lái)考慮。參照木材的物理力學(xué)特性,用木材的抗壓強(qiáng)度限度作為參照值。木材的強(qiáng)度限度變化范圍比較大,是不同木材的強(qiáng)度不同,二是不同的受力方向強(qiáng)度也不同,順紋抗壓強(qiáng)度都比較高,而橫向格外是弦向強(qiáng)度比較低。

成型機(jī)一個(gè)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)周期成型的餐具數(shù)量過(guò)少,會(huì)造成生產(chǎn)率低,反之?dāng)?shù)量過(guò)多,機(jī)構(gòu)的體積増大、慣性増大,定位精度降低,運(yùn)動(dòng)速度也隨之降低,使生產(chǎn)率降低,故應(yīng)考慮一個(gè)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)周期成型的餐具數(shù)量應(yīng)適中。
